BAC Local 1 NY Annual Union Scholarship Contest 2023

On May 25th, 2023, Local 1 NY Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers held their annual Union Scholarship Contest. In total, 15 high school seniors made presentations to judges hoping to win Scholarships ranging from $2500 to $10,000!!
We are pleased to announce the winners!
First prize $10,000 Kathryn Campion
Second Prize $5,000 Nicholas Mrakovcic
Second Prize $5,000 Jahric Serrant
Third Prize $2,500 Megan Leggio
Third Prize $2,500 Juan Diego Guerrero Mendoza
Third Prize $2,500 Alexander Piascik
In Memoriam $1,000 Alisha Fernandez
All others participants received a $500 Merit Award towards books.
We would like to thank all the students and judges for making this a memorable event.
